How fast can you handle shift changes or absences in TeamPlan?
You can adjust shifts immediately when a department’s needs change on the relevant day. You can modify both the shift type and its start and end times. If the shift is no longer needed, you can delete it. Likewise, when a new requirement arises, you can create a new shift and assign it to an employee or place it on the shift exchange. When colleagues request a shift swap, you can approve or reject it directly in TeamPlan.

A planner maintains overview in TeamPlan through the Planned tab, which shows who is scheduled to work and at what times for the coming days. From the same interface, the planner can handle reported absences and follow changes, while the Pending and Changes tabs support follow-up on outstanding and updated roster events.
How do you respond to absence in TeamPlan?
In TeamPlan, a reported absence is first registered on the employee’s shift and then handled from the Pending tab.
The planner can respond by offering the shift, assigning a replacement, editing the shift before reassignment, or accepting the absence without replacement – depending on operational need.
