Time & Attendance Management
MyPlan & ClockPoint
In today’s dynamic workplace, accurate timekeeping and reliable time and attendance management are not just administrative necessities—they form critical foundations for organisational success. This includes both simple work hour tracking and precise recording that ensures compliance with local labor laws and collective agreements.
In addition, by maintaining a clear overview of work hour registration, employees gain full visibility into their working hours, overtime, and leave balances.
Two Options for Time and Attendance Management
PDC supports time and attendance registration through both MyPlan and physical clocking terminals such as ClockPoint. Employees can clock in and out digitally on mobile or web, or use an external terminal at the workplace, while all registrations are fed back into StaffPlan for attendance follow-up, approval, and payroll processing.
Why Use PDC's Time & Attendance Management?
To meet time tracking demands, PDC provides a Time and Attendance Management module within PDC StaffPlan. In addition, it delivers a robust and scalable platform that integrates seamlessly into broader workforce management processes.
Furthermore, the module targets organisations that demand precision, efficiency, and transparency at every step. It supports flexible time registration through multiple channels—web, mobile, or terminal devices—so all employees can access it easily.
“We appreciate that PDC challenges our way of thinking about shift planning.”

Can we use different time registration methods across the organisation?
PDC Time and Attendance supports both Punch Clock and Time Registration in MyPlan, as well as in ClockPoint, so organisations can choose the registration method that fits different departments and working patterns best.
Can we improve follow-up on attendance and no-shows?
PDC Time and Attendance helps track attendance and no-shows, and StaffPlan can generate alerts if an employee does not show up for a scheduled shift. Planners can also use attendance views to register attendance on behalf of employees when needed.
Can we document deviations and forgotten clockings more consistently?
With Time and Attendance Management, employees can state reasons for early or late clockings, register unscheduled work, and add a backdated clocking if they forgot to punch in while working. This helps create more complete and transparent attendance documentation.
Can we collect time registrations from both mobile and physical terminals?
Employees can register working time either directly in MyPlan or through external punch clock terminals. Both options are supported within the same time and attendance setup, giving organisations flexibility in how attendance is captured.
Can we adapt time and attendance to our own rules and security needs?
The solution can be configured with different consolidation handling through a solver, depending on how registrations should be processed in StaffPlan.
It can also be restricted through Network GeoFencing, so time attendance registration in MyPlan is only allowed from specified networks.
Can we keep control before data is used for payroll?
The planner reviews employee registrations in StaffPlan and can approve or reject them before they are approved for payroll. This creates a controlled workflow between employee registration, planner follow-up, and salary processing.
